As I listened to public sector leaders navigate the tension between innovation and regulation, it was clear that the state of AI in Europe has moved past theory into high stakes implementation. Panel I Listened To: Status of Selected EUDI Wallets

• Country-by-country overview of existing ID wallets: what's live and what's piloting. There is quite a nice foundation already.
• What's possible vs. current limits: interop, UX, trust frameworks.
• How to prototype an EU wallet: start lean, test real user flows, validate issuer and registry touchpoints.
• EU business wallet: a practical path may build on personal wallet foundations with role and attribute extensions.
• Infrastructure and data protection: design so no unauthorized party can access personal data - using strong isolation, auditable access, and full control.
