A Build Session with the BREAK Fellowship
On 8 June, 23 entrepreneurs from Valencia travelled to Vienna as part of the BREAK Fellowship. Our founder Kasia Sadowska spent the morning with them, running a half-day hands-on session on building with AI. She had been through the BREAK Fellowship herself as a participant in Spain in 2023, so when the Vienna edition came together, the invitation meant something beyond a speaking slot. It was the same community, a different side of it.
How the Session Was Structured
The session opened before anyone touched a build tool. Participants worked through how to structure prompts in Claude using our FutureHabits.Tech templates, learning how to describe what they were building precisely enough that the build phase could follow directly from it. The session spent real time here because the output of a build is only as specific as the description that went into it. A vague prompt produces a generic result. The templates exist to close that gap before it becomes a problem.
What that looked like in practice was participants working through the logic of their own product or project before touching Lovable at all. By the time the build started, everyone had a prompt that was specific enough to produce something useful rather than something that needed to be rebuilt from scratch after the first attempt.
Building and Pushing Further
From there the group moved into Lovable and built. Websites first, then digital identities, then further than most sessions go. Lovable now generates files, and the session used that capability in full. Participants created pitch decks, social media posts, and slide decks, each aligned with the website they had just built, so that the visual identity carried through from one asset to the next rather than being designed each time separately.
For some participants, this meant starting a renovation of an existing website during the session itself and leaving with real progress made. For others, it was a first build, something published at an actual URL by the time the morning ended. Melissa C. O'Brien, one of the participants, posted afterwards that Perplexity and Claude had become fast favourites as a result of the session. Gaia Ferreira described Kasia's approach as methodical, calm, focused, and oriented toward active work rather than passive instruction.
Testing Tools Side by Side
The session also included a live comparison that is not standard in most workshops. The same prompt was run through both Lovable and Nano Banana with participants watching both outputs appear in real time. Lovable produced the sharper social media result. Running the comparison live meant participants could see the difference in output quality for themselves rather than hearing about it secondhand. It also opened up a wider conversation about how the same input performs differently depending on the tool, and why testing directly matters more than defaulting to whatever is most familiar.
During the session, one participant introduced Kasia to Emergent, a tool for building web apps she had not worked with before. That went into the notes for future sessions.
The Impact
Participants arrived with different starting points and left with different things, but the direction was consistent. Those who came to renovate made progress on real work. Those who came to build for the first time left with something live. Those who came to think more clearly about how they work with AI left with a process they could apply the following day.
Gabriela Musterova described her experience of the session this way: "The room worked both ways. We came to learn, also to exchange real use cases, questions and tools from different contexts. It felt very hands on, very alive, and honestly very useful for anyone building something from scratch."
That exchange ran throughout the morning, between participants comparing tools, between the work itself and the questions it raised, and between a community Kasia had been part of in 2023 and where it has arrived since.
