Evidence of the AI Promise: Rukayat’s Story
By Favour Patrick | Categories: Startup Services

In a world where every day brings another post about how “AI can change your life,” it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, or worse, sceptical. We scroll through endless promises, yet wonder: where’s the proof? Who is actually benefiting, beyond the headlines and the hype? The truth is, AI is working, but only for those willing to take the leap, to try something new, and to pair innovation with the right support.
That’s why stories like Rukayat Issa’s matter. As part of our WomenTech Network Mentoring Program, she came with a bold vision: building an eCommerce platform dedicated to supporting women-owned businesses in tech, food, and fashion. With guidance from her mentor, Kasia Sadowska, she explored customer discovery, competitive research, user interviews, and the smart use of AI tools to accelerate MVP development. Her project, backed by the Microsoft Startup Hub, grew from an idea into a structured plan, with clarity on customer segments and a sharper go-to-market strategy.
It is natural to feel uncertain about how AI might impact your business. Doubts about losing originality or being left behind are real, but no one can do it alone. We need others to help us find clarity, direction, and courage to move forward. With the right guidance, AI does not replace you; it partners with you. Think of it as a business partner that helps test ideas, streamline your work, and give you back time to focus on what matters most.
Rukayat’s journey is a clear reminder that AI isn’t just a theory; it’s already creating measurable impact for founders who are willing to leap. With the right guidance and tools, innovation becomes practical, focused, and achievable. This is what we do, and the results speak for themselves.
