When Mentoring Meets AI: A Night of Discovery in Vienna

When mentors and mentees come together with purpose, discovery takes on a whole new meaning. And Vienna witnessed just that. During an engaging 90-minute workshop led by Kasia Sadowska, the PWN Vienna community explored how AI tools can enhance the mentoring journey for both mentors and mentees. The atmosphere was alive with insight, curiosity, and the drive to learn.

Through live demonstrations and group discussions, participants examined how AI can transform the mentoring process. Mentors explored new ways to tailor their sessions, simulate meaningful conversations, and provide feedback enriched by AI. Mentees discovered how these tools can help structure their learning, accelerate practical application, and turn insights into action. Everyone present had the opportunity to experience how AI can support faster research, deeper questions, and realistic scenario-based practice.

This workshop was not only a learning experience but also a glimpse into the future of mentoring. It highlighted how technology, when applied thoughtfully, can strengthen human connection and make guidance more impactful.
